The diamond measures approximately 4.7 mm from point to base with an actual weight of 0.28 carat. It's a real dazzler with color graded at D (top colorless range) and clarity graded at I-1 (nearly eye-clean) with good overall cut. Diamond is April's birthstone, but this classic and versatile piece is a joy to own and wear regardless of your birth month! The diamond is 100% genuine, natural, untreated, an unenhanced. This is the kind of piece you can dress up or dress down, suitable to be worn with a formal dress yet equally at home with jeans and a sweater. The pendant measures 10.4 mm in length with a V bail opening that could accommodate up to about 2 mm diameter chain without alteration. The pendant mounting is not stamped; we guarantee it to be at least 10 karat in purity. It is constructed with a white gold head and a yellow gold bail. It is almost assuredly 14 karat; but in all transparency, we did not test it. It is unlikely, but it could possibly be 10K or 18K, or some combination of karat golds. It comes with a dainty but sturdy 14 karat yellow gold pendant rope style chain, but it easily slides off and could be worn on a different chain.
