Description: This listing is for a very stylish 14 karat two tone gold diamond cluster pendant with chain. The pendant features 19 round single cut mélange natural diamonds with an estimated and manufacturer's stated total diamond weight of 0.07 carat. Single cut means that they each have 17 flat faceted surfaces versus the 58 in a full brilliant cut; this is common with tiny diamonds. These diamonds have an average color graded at I/J (near colorless to faintly tinted) and clarity at I-2 (not entirely eye-clean, but lively) with good overall cut. Diamond is April's birthstone, but this classic and versatile piece is a joy to own and wear regardless of your birth month! The diamonds are all 100% genuine, natural, untreated, an unenhanced. The pendant is by the family owned, Chicago based manufacturer Berco, style number 17-B1427D. I don't know if it was manufactured in Chicago or if it was imported; they do both. It is a true two tone, done in multiple castings, with a white gold top and bail and a yellow gold background. It is much more expensive to manufacture a piece this way versus just plating the highlights. The pendant measures about 20 mm in length and 12.8 mm in width and weighs 1.6 grams. The chain is a 14 karat white gold pendant style rope finished to 18 inches in length, held with a spring ring clasp, and weighs 0.4 gram. Total gold weight of the piece is approximately 2.0 grams. The pendant and the chain are both solid 14 karat gold and new; don't be duped into buying a gold plated piece or some else's worn out castoff!
