The citrine exhibits a medium dark, moderately strong, orange color and has very good eye clean (and nearly loupe clean) clarity. Checkerboard cuts are typically premium cuts, but this one has only a fair final polish; it's still a lively, gorgeous stone! Most natural citrines have been heat treated to bring out their color, and we assume this gem underwent this treatment. Citrine is a November birthstone, but this ring is a joy to own and wear regardless of your birth month! The citrine is flanked by two round, full brilliant cut, natural and unenhanced diamonds. The diamonds average 1.7 mm in diameter with a combined actual weight of 0.04 carat. These diamonds are graded at J/K color and I-2 clarity with good overall cut. They provide a nice, sparkly accent to the center citrine. The citrine and the diamonds are all 100% genuine and natural, and the diamonds are untreated and unenhanced as well.
