Taller canna that grows 5-7 feet tall forming tight slightly spreading clump of robust rhizomes. Clusters of medium size delicate orchid-shape bright golden-yellow to egg-yolk color flowers with orange throats spikes atop upright paddle-shaped dark apple-jungle green leaves with darker purplish veins and margin. Flowers Mid Summer to Late Fall. Average water needs. Grows best in partial sun but can tolerate partial shaded locations without changing foliage color. In our trials this canna proved to be a vigorous grower and prolific bloomer July through October in zone 7b. Give them at least 4 hours of direct sunlight in somewhat wind sheltered location with hummus rich moist soil and these cannas will reward you with spikes of golden-yellow blooms. Cannas love heat and humidity and require a minimum of four hours of direct sunlight to bloom abundantly.
