They are tropical plants but can be brought indoors and enjoyed in winter. Very easy to plant, just place bulbs in moist soil with growing tips above the soil. Leaves will sprout within 5-10 days or longer depending on soil and climate.Plant them in small pot first until several leaves have grown then put the whole pot in shallow water (don't put the bulbs directly into the water as they will rot)
