Description: Paldo Beef bone broth noodle soup 곰탕 설렁탕 One of Korea’s long time favorite comfort soups, Gomtang (Seolleongtang, or also romanized as Sul Lung Tang). Is generally made of beef bone broth (ox bone), and is known to many to be not only a comfort food, but also a home remedy to many Koreans just as chicken soup is known, to chase away the cold or to take away the homesick blues (^_^) The Paldo brand has a vast variety of ramyun and other noodle soups, but amongst those, this definitely is my top fave go to choice. The Bouillon is hearty and has the very sought after taste of a beef bone soup. Unlike other beef broths, because this is made from bone broth, the depth in flavor is much different from of general beef flavored soups. It’s not extra salty or filled with spice to mask artificial flavors. It is a almost milky clean flavor that tastes close to the restaurant made versions. Difference is that you don’t have to cook it for hours! It only takes 3 minutes to prepare :) ______ Dee’s Tips: Yes it is a noodle soup! But don’t think it stops there! In Gomtang restaurants, or Sullungtang restaurants, this soup is usually served with a side of rice and kimchi. Because although, for most noodle soups, the focus goes to the noodles, in this case, the star of the show is the broth! So after you finish the noodles, add some steam rice to the broth and top it with fresh cut green scallions. That is 2 meals in 1 right there! Or if you are me, thats the right way to do justice to that yummy broth (^_~) ______ Ships from Los Angeles, California
