The leaves on the particular ficus are the most beautiful in my opinion, are typically larger than ficus benjamina and other figs and the leaves are heart shaped with a pointed end. What is most impressive is that new leaves start out pink or red, are very tender and slowly turn a bright spring green and then a rich deep green. I have one of these very happily growing in a southern facing window. Its roots are already making their way above the soil and moss foundation which is one of the beautiful attributes of this tree. It grows fast, making for a bonsai that it looks like you have been growing for years. The plant can be controlled by regular pruning of both the branches and roots, just be sure not to trim the main tap root (the largest, central and most obvious.) Trimming will keep the plant bushier and more attractive. This is for 100 Seeds. Please note that the seeds are very small. Perennial zones 10-12, any zone indoors Germination is slow at 4-6 weeks. Heat helps speed up germination. Minimum temperature of 77 degrees. I strongly suggest a heat mat for plants. Cover pots with plastic wrap to retain moisture and warmth.
