Description: One of our all-time favorite patterns, Van Nuys is an elaborate Jacobean Floral Stripe. This colorway features a spring-fresh palette and a hand-painted look sure to brighten any room of your home. Designer/Manufacturer: Thomas Strahan Pattern Name (if known): Van Nuys Type of Wallpaper: Pre-trimmed Handprint. Like most fine wallpapers, this is not pre-pasted. Size: Single Roll is 20.5 inches wide x 7 yards long with a 10.25 inch repeat. Each double bolt is 20.5 inches wide x 14 yards long (52.07cm wide x 12.8m long) Quantity: 10 single rolls packaged as 5 double roll bolts. All from the same dye lot. Condition: New unused, 1st quality. All of this inventory has no cellophane wrapping. Color: Blue, Pinks, Greens on a creamy ivory background; pattern is in stripes. Although it varies by number of doors and windows and pattern match, it takes, on AVERAGE, 10 rolls to paper the walls in an 8 x 10 room with 8 ft. high ceilings. The same room with 10 ft. high ceilings would need 12 rolls. To paper the walls of an average 10 x 14 room with 8 ft. ceilings you will need, in general, a minimum of 14 rolls. If you have 10 ft. ceilings and a 16 x 20 room, you will likely need a minimum of 26 rolls. You should use an on-line wallpaper calculator to determine your exact needs. There are several available. I always like to add a roll or two so I have extra just in case I cut a piece incorrectly or for things like lining drawers or shelves, or even papering a closet to match the room.
