All were found on the beaches of Japan, Alaska, Oregon, and Washington State. Some have markings and most do not. There are chips from the edges of the sealing buttons and no cracks to the float! These type floats would be tied to the edge of a fishing net to catch salmon and other fish. They would be a great addition to a collection of floats or maritime items!
