Description: This auction is for a lot of 11 vintage black and white photos, recently found in Berlin, Germany, of handsome young men / males & lovely women participating in team Water Sports (Canoe, Crew or Shell boat rowing sport / competition), at what appears to be a rowing club, known by Germans as a Ruderclub. Based on limited research, the smaller photos are associated with a rowing club, of both men & women, in or near Pirna, Germany, most likely near the Elbe River. The 3 larger photos of rowers are from another estate sale, but also found in Berlin. One photo is marked as being on a canal in Berlin's Tiergarten, and is most likely the Landwehr Canal. These undated photographs appear to be from approximately the 1950s, taken in the former "East" Germany (GDR / DDR). The photos are in good vintage condition, with no tears, stains, or creases, except for one photo, which is torn on one corner. The photos range in size from 6 inches x 4 inches down to 3 1/2 inches x 2 1/4 inches. The photos may be of water sports / rowing interest.
