Description: .——Description—— This auction is for a dozen CDs in one lot! Yes, 12 CDs for one low price! What a deal! Details: (1) A promo copy of the 1995 CD "Music From the Original Motion Picture Ace Ventura When Nature Calls" starring Jim Carrey. The CD includes songs by Sting, Pato Banton, Blues Traveler, The Goo Goo Dolls, Mr. Mirainga, The Presidents of the United States of America, White Zombie, Reverend Horton Heat, Native, Montell Jordan, Angelique Kidjo, Matthew Sweet, Blessid Union of Souls and Robert Folk. The UPC number is 0008811137427. CONDITION: The reason I call this copy "Very Good" instead of "Like New" is because of the two holes punched through the UPC price code symbol on the back. Also: Many years ago, I rubber-stamped my name inside the back-card inserts of my CDs (on the side of the insert that you can see only after popping out the black tray). I have since removed those words by putting tape over them and then yanking the tape away, which leaves a small rough patch on the paper (see close-up photo above). This flaw is undetectable from the "art" side of the back-card insert that you can see through the back of the plastic case -- you never would know the flaw existed unless you removed the black tray to look for it -- but I believe in full disclosure! (2) AMERICAN DREAMZ Original Score by Stephen Trask. This is a no-art, no-booklet promo green CD-R, with plain text on the back card. Lakshore Records label, catalog number LKS 33856, no UPC code because it's a promo, 2006, 46 short tracks on the single CD. (3) HOLIDAY SHUFFLE CHRISTMAS SAMPLER 2005 was a Billboard Radio Monitor giveaway promo, so it has no UPC number or catalog number. Comes in a cardstock sleeve, no inserts, Like New condition. Includes Christmas songs by Rod Stewart, MercyMe, Diana Krall, Brian Wilson, deSol, Chris Rice, Natalie Grant, Kenny G. and Kimberley Locke. (4) DAVE KOZ & FRIENDS "A Smooth Jazz Christmas" is a promo in a cardstock sleeve. Some rubbing and minor marks on sleeve, but CD is Like New. Because this is a promo, there is no UPC code. Capitol Records label, 2001, catalog number CDP 7243 5 33837 2 5-V. (5) PALM SUMMER 2002 SAMPLER from Palm Pictures is a promo in a cardstock sleeve, which shows some scuffing, but CD itself is fine. Includes songs by 1 Giant Leap, Cousteau, Local H, Rearview Mirror, Amon Tobin, Supreme Beings of Leisure, Gigi, Tabla Beat Science, Dieselboy, Speedealer and The Mad Capsule Markets. (6) HEAR THE WARMTH WITH WINDHAM HILL'S HOLIDAY COLLECTION, Windham Hill label, catalog number WD96-37, no UPC number. I'm not sure if this was a giveaway or a promo, but there is no UPC number. Includes over an hour of music by artists incuding Jim Brickman, Ray Lynch, Michael Hedges, Nightnoise, Luka Bloom, James Galway, Cpercaillie, Loreena McKennit, George Kahumoku, Liz Story, George Winston and Oystein Sevag. (7) XMAS BALLS "She Left Me For Randolph" (humorous Christmas songs), some scuffs and hairline cracks on outer plastic case but inserts and CD-R disc is fine. UPC number 722247195324. (8) "The End of Violence" CD soundtrack to the Wim Wenders film. Like New condition! Outpost label catalog number OPRD-30008 UPC number 607703000827. (11) Brand new, still sealed in cellophane promo copy of the Christmas songs CD "Cledus Navidad" by Cledus T. Judd. The only flaw is a neat round hole through the UPC price code symbol on the back, where the plastic case also has a short hairline crack (see close-up above). This CD was given away with the January 2011 issue of Mojo magazine.
