Description: This 12" tall cloth doll, which I believe is Navajo, represents a grandmother with seven children and a papoose in a wood cradleboard. The standing child is 5" tall. The figures have painted features and are made of a stocking like fabric. The grandmother has yarn hair and a beaded "necklace". The doll has a wood base,which appears to be signed with initials, although I can't decipher them. The grandmother has a mended area on the right side of her face and what appears to be a bead stuck to her left cheek.
