14" Wine Saki Bottle Japanese Crock pottery antique calligraphy conical mouth

Description: This is a large antique Saki / Wine Bottle Vessel.It is stoneware type pottery with calligraphy design around it and handmade. Unique conical mouth & form. This has the hand coiled shape and it not perfect showing it is hand thrown with the. Great antique primitive looking Bottle for decorative purposes.. This is Japanese in origin, not sure of exact age but it is very old. Natural pottery color with brown glaze calligraphy.Measures: 14" tall by 6" wide overall dimension of bodyThis is antique age. The exterior has crazing in the glaze and rough spots in the finish from how it sat on the rack when it was fired. The top rim of the mouth is a little rough feeling on the edge but there. The bottom has a hole drilled through it. There is a flaw on the side near the bottom from how it was hand made and I will point to that area in the pictures. A few little imperfection in the clay being handmade. Tiny pitting holes in the glaze may be from firing/cooling process or from age- not sure. I will point to flaws in the photos.
