Description: This is a laser cut kit to make a 1:48 scale staircases as shown. The total height can be customized by cutting the stringers and railings shorter before building. This deluxe version kit includes easy to assemble two piece side railing/top segments that allow you to build a highly detailed model in even less time. The tread width is scale 36" (3/4" actual inch), the total rise is 12' scale (3" actual) and the total run (length) when situated is just under 15' scale (3 5/8" actual). This kit uses a 38 degree rise angle, which is commonly used in real stair construction. Note that the stringers fit into the 2 slots on the carrier sheet, allowing easy assembly of the treads for a great looking kit of a common but very difficult to scratch build architectural feature!
