Description: This tea set is beautifully patterned in a floral design, in a dark mauve, delicate pink and burnished gold. Each of the six cups is adorned with a gold and mauve motif atop its rim, to better draw the eye to the floral showcase below. Below each cup, if traditionally presented atop the saucer, more boldly repeats the floral motif, allowing the set to present its bouquet as the painted flowers flow from the saucer and grow into a bloom perfected by the cups. The centerpiece is of course the teapot, also adorned in the fashion as the rest of the set, writ bold. Along with her sister creamer and sugar pot, she completes the set for any who loves fashionable tea. Please note that despite the brilliance and beauty of this set, it is not without its flaws. While the set itself has not been marred after its creation, it came manufactured without any tops, and if examined closely, it would be noted that the paint was applied with some blemishes in some instances. Finally, the metal stand is this set's chief weakness, as it is bendable with some effort, and is out of alignment in some areas. This set is sold as is.
