You are bidding on 15 TOYAMA-NISHIKI VARIEGATED WEEPING JAPANESE MAPLE SEEDS - Acer palmatum 'Toyama nishiki' .This is a broadleaf deciduous shrub or tree with green, pink, red, variegated and white foliage. The pink bronze new growth is accentuated by bright pink and white irregular variegation. It often retains a more bronze green color in the summer months. This plant is so amazing that the reversion is propagated under the name 'Nancy's Legacy'. It turns bright yellow to orange in the fall. Late in autumn you may even get a pink-red. Zone: 5A to 9BHeight: May reach 3 ft in height by 4 ft in width in 10 years. Medicinal use : None known Edible parts of Japanese Maple: The sap contains a certain amount of sugar and can either be used as a drink, or can be concentrated into a syrup by boiling off the water. The syrup is used as a sweetener on many foods. Other uses of Japanese Maple: The leaves are packed around apples, root crops etc to help preserve them.
