From the Old Testament-The Title Page of the Book of 1st Samuel Includes the Title to 1st Samuel, The rectangular Woodcut, the enlarged first letter "N" and the Text for Samuel from Chapter 1:1 through 1:9a. Over the Title, and on the reverse, is the ending of Ruth-she has great verses-about Marrying Boaz-having a son in the lineage of David and eventually Jesus. Great verses on both sides!! Tremendously important Leaf to Frame!!!! Taken from a King James Bible Published in 1611-1617! The 3rd Issue Printed in London-by Robert Barker- 59 lines to the page-2 column Gothic Font on written pages. 15 5/8" by 10 3/8" 2 Column Black Letter Font with Roman Font Notes. Comes with a nice COA and a copy of the New Testament Title.. Condition: disbound from an Original 1st Edition-3rd Issue King James Bible.
