Description: This is a 17" quartz bead necklace, professionally strung on brown yellow silk with 8 corrugated 14K gold spacer beads and a fixed pearl pendant. The pearl is a little bigger than 14mm; it's a Chinese white freshwater pearl, mostly oval-shaped but for a prominent ridge near the top. The pearl has a sweet, openwork vintage 14 karat gold cap. The gold beads and the faceted smoky quartz beads are 4mm in diameter. The clasp is a vintage rectangular bayonet with a nice brickwork design and a figure 8 safety catch. The necklace weighs 13.9 grams of which the 14 karat gold weight is 3.4 grams. The clasp is stamped "14K" on its tongue but there are no other maker's marks or purity stamps. I guarantee all metal is 14 karat gold.
