Description: Small edition of the works of Anacreon as well as a collection of Sappho’s works. Nice condition with some discoloration to the paper due to age as well as light soiling from handing. The binding is leather with scuffs at the edges and rub as well as loss at the corners. The spine is gilt-decorated with a hole at the bottom of the top compartment. Gorgeous paste-paper endpapers in deep cerulean blue, crack at the gutter at first spare; loose page at front after the title page (lob des Anakreons und der Sappho).
