Ex-libris 'Thomas Bevan' with his armorial bookplate to front pastedown'. Size: 12mo (17.6cm x 10.8cm).Good condition internally, in a Fair only binding. Bound without a half-title. Front board and endpaper detached as one. Small hole to inner top edge of title and following leaf. One small hole to lower margin of another leaf. Leather chipped at head of spine, and less so at foot. Some wear to edges and corners. Ownership inscriptions to flyleaf. Light age-toning to title page. Minimal scattered foxing to text in just a few places. Otherwise text generally well-preserved with the following notes: small ink blot marks to pp11-12; contemporary MS correction to text on pp31-32; small pale stain to blank lower corner of pp37-44; crease to lower corner of pp129-132. Gutter starting to strain between pages 38 and 39.
