Both boards detached. Moderate wear to extremities with heavy scuffing to corners and end bands. Desiccated edges and light scratching to surface. Spine abraded and desiccated with flaking and toning. Frontis, end papers and preliminaries are detached with front board. Edges brittle along preliminaries. Text is lightly toned, with typical age-staining, foxing. Free of known marginalia. Binding remains intact. Rear fly leaf is torn, toned. Please see photos. Rare early copy.
