Description: 1790 to 1820's Mounted Artillery Officers Sword Scabbard. Completely unmarked. The scabbard is solid with a few small dents/dings, one hole on the drag (3/4" x 1/8"), light pitting scattered, small fold at the mouth could be fixed, the throat piece and screws are missing. Length of the scabbard is 33 5/16", opening is 1 15/16" (because of the slight fold at the opening, if unfolded 2 1/16") x 11/16" at the widest point and 1/2" at the thinnest.
