Description: x1448Title: UNTITLED x14482024 Oil Paint on Corrugated Cardboard18 by 15 by 1/4 in. Notes: This cardboard is slightly warped. It can be displayed like in the photos, I can send the 1/2 inch aluminum push pins -- that can hold 40lbs each, just in drywall.(If you would like for me to include pushpins, please send a note at time of purchase.) But, ideally, it may be framed with a backerboard, like foamboard behind the work. Please feel free to contact me with any questions on framing or display. Part of what makes this work what it is -- is the fact that it was done on cardboard. There is a freedom and experimental aspect conveyed in not having the investment of the stretched canvas. This cardboard was primed with acrylic polymer and crushed glass prior to painting with the oils. So, the oils may only slightly touch the cardboard where it overlaps on the edges. [Please allow me a few days to package and ship these oil paintings -- thank you!]Painted in new NYC studio on West 15th Street. signed on front and back Note: I am very happy to entertain all offers on paintings. Every offer received is always considered a compliment. - DP S C R O L L D O W N T O V I E W M O R E D E T A I L I M A G E STo sign up for the weekly newsletter of new auctions and paintings in the eBay store CLICK HERE Title and Provenance This painting is entitled UNTITLED x1448, and includes the original signature of artist on front of painting and verso, with painting catalogue series and number applied on verso.
