Description: 41x23 top closed and 41 x 54.5 open, 29 tall , there is a note on the table and possible signature from John Croes ? Possible cabinet maker in New Jersey this will require and warrant further research, if we come up with something I will post it. This table is incredible quality ! Older refinish, excellent condition , slight damage to one foot where you can see the nails are missing on two toes , not real noticeable and certainly fixable , the table itself is profusely carved with hairy paw feet and acanthus decoration , if croes is the maker he was a master carver ! The rosettes in the corners are wonderful , nice little acorn drops , solid sturdy and 100% usable , the last of real hand made American furniture ! This would cost thousands to replicate !
