It's amazing that the colors have remained so bright after all these years! Provenance: This is from a collection of 50 hand colored prints from a German Natural History book - album titled "Kupfer-Sammlung besonders zu F. P. Wilmsen's Handbuch der Naturgeschichte" (Manual of Natural History for the Youth and their Teachers). With an Introduction by Dr. H. Lichtenstein and Dr. F. Klug, directors of zoological museums. You will receive the print and a copy of the title page (see images) from this album for provenance, and we have left the edge untrimmed to provide origin provenance as well.
