Description: 1828 SCARCE DATE Half Cent "Counter Stamped" in APPROX. XF++ CONDITION-- FABULOUS! GREAT DETAILS AND PERFECT POSITION OF INITIALS--- SO RARE!!! *All opinions on raw coins are by estimate only, as only a coin grader can give a true estimate and keep in mind, this is a "counter stamped" coin. These old coins are a favorite among the collectors that love the old counter stamped and carry a premium, as they all "tell a story as many came from merchants, etc and those are the initials you see as an example and they are apart of our United States early history. Scarce dates like this one is an extra and condition is an extra. - This is a raw coin and guarantees on raw coins include guarantee of being authentic only, I am not a coin grader, and all raw coins are by estimation only of condition, as any seller should give. SCARCE DATE and RARE COLLECTIBLE RAW IN THIS CONDITION AND THIS OLD!!! ...***Certain Collectors love "COUNTER STAMPED" Coins such as this one!! Not only is it a Scarce Date, but it is also a collector's love! Counter stamping and Stamping Coins like this one was the earliest form of advertising and Collectors have fun trying to figure out where and when and why it was stamped. This was probably an advertisement purpose. This Half Cent has "13 FULL STARS" and is "Brown" I would say in approx. XF+ Condition, but you be the judge, it is stamped on the OBVERSE and REVERSE-- OBV. is "P" and an "M " parallel in center outside of coin. What I like is they did not deface Ms. Liberty when they did it, OVIOUSLY, THEY WERE A PATRIOT I WOULD ASSUME :). I got this from a man that has been collecting since the 1940's-1950's to Present Day and he owned the coin a long time. IT IS GUARANTEED AUTHENTHIC LIKE EVERYTHING IN MY HOARD OF TREASURES. The Reverse has "M" in the middle of coin. SUPER NICE AND A GREAT PIECE OF HISTORY!!!! COLLECTOR'S FAVORITE, NO DOUBT and a must for any serious collector, especially Americans as it was some our earliest form of US Currency, Advertisement and just really neat on an old scarce date. Estimating XF condition. Great Details and the initials are in great positions not thru MS LIBERTY!!! See Photos! You be the judge. Monitors may vary. It is Brown, excellent condition with great original detail and appears uncleaned. Cir. Save me as a SELLER---HEATHER'S TREASURE EMPORIUM
