Description: 1836 Lewistown Pennsylvania Stampless Folded Letter Cover. Measures 8" x 10" at largest measurements. Single sheet. See Images. Usual folds. Tape stains from mounting at some point. Split fold appears to have been repaired with a stamp hinge type material. Portion of bottom of sheet is missing. Two 1" tears on left edge of letter side. Separation along fold below red seal.
