Description: Condition is good minus. Moderate to heavier foxing throughout but text is not marked and has only a few previously folded corners, does not look read much. Binding is good with only slight slant, front board starting mildly at top/bottom. Cloth coming up at bottom of spine, as shown. This appears to be the first edition of Goodrich's guide to the Strass map, but does not include the map (1841 on both copyright and title page). There were later versions by Colton etc., this may have been slightly earlier and appears to be very scarce.
