It is characterised by pointed arches and flying buttresses, and is seen in particular in churches, cathedrals and abbeys. CONDITION In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally generally smart, a little bumped to the head and tail of the spine resulting in some loss to the cloth. Ownership bookplate to the front pastedown; inscriptions to the front endpaper. Internally generally firmly bound, pages are bright and clean.
