Description: This is the lock plate assembly off of what I think is an 1842 U.S. .69 caliber smoothbore musket. The plate is stamped Harpers Ferry 1847 with the eagle and US. It works good, it has a large area of light pitting below the eagle and scattered specks elsewhere. I have a few other parts listed for this old musket so check my listings if interested.
