Description: A nice old clear 1858 Mason's Patent 1 Quart canning jar. It has wavy glass and a ground lip. It has "MASON'S PATENT NOV. 30TH 1858" embossed on the front. The bottom has the number "3". It is 7-1/2" tall and 3-5/8" across the base. It has an old Ball zinc lid that is unmarked on the top. The condition is very good with no cracks or noticeable cloudiness. There is a small rim chip (last photo).
