Year of manufacture: around 1860-70, condition: 2, blade length: 83cm, total length: 97cm Curved and richly etched blade, brass "Lion's Head" hilt, with crossed cannon barrels, deeply carved, leather handle with wire wrapping, burnished steel scabbard partly, with the usual dents, with a numbered brass ring. Note the unusual square langets, single ring, lion headed hilt. The Inspection stamp and inventory number "5.K.4." indicating "Kurassier (Calvary) regiment no. 5 . squadron no 4".
