Description: 1860's 1/9 PLATE AMBROTYPE TINTYPE CHILD YOUNG MAN SEATED - COLORED TABLE CLOTH Click images to enlarge Description Offered for Sale is this Antique 1/9th plate Ambrotype / Tintype of a Child / Young Man Seated next to a table with what appears to be a hand shaded floral table cloth. The image is under glass therefore I'm unsure if it's an Ambrotype or Tintype. The cheeks and lips also appear to be hand colored. The Oval Shaped mat would suggest this image was from the 1840's to 1860's. The Leather Case displays decoration on both sides but is in Poor / Separated Condition. This Early Photo would be a Great Addition to any Antique Photograph Collection. Note: I am not an expert when it comes to photographic images. The surrounding mat displays tarnish or staining in several spots. The case has separated and displays significant wear throughout.
