Title page and preface, followed by 30 leaves of text inc. drop titles (rectors of versos blank), and interspersed 24 leaves of woodblock chromoxylographic colour illustrations (rectos or versos blank), with tissue guards. Maroon cloth with gilt bordering and lettering to upper cover and spine. Ex-libris 'Robert J. Hayhurst', with his bookplate to front pastedown. Size: 4to (27cm x 23.5cm).Very Good to Good condition. Binding rather rubbed, and corners bumped and rubbed with some loss of cloth. Minor splits to cloth along top of spine, and light rubbing and chipping to top and bottom of spine. Minor marking to covers. Front inner hinge starting. Minor shaking to binding. Light age-toning to leaves, and the occasional handling mark.
