This moral tale is indicative of Greenwood's writings, both fiction and non fiction. CONDITION In the publisher's brown cloth binding with gilt motif to front board. Externally very smart with slight bumping to the extremities. Joints reinforced with sensitive repair to head and tail of the spine and endpapers renewed. The odd mark to the boards. Contemporary gift inscription to front blank. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with marginal age toning and the odd spot. Plate entitled 'Peter's Last Purgatorial Reminiscence' has been closely trimmed, not affecting the image.
