Hinges have some wear, but pages generally remain attached with good support. Illustrations have some toning, but are otherwise in good condition and clear to see. The first volume is the English version, and the second volume is the German translation. A geological survey is a systematic investigation of the geology of a certain area for the purpose of creating a geological map or model.
