Description: This is a big beautiful vintage KEEN KUTTER EC SIMMONS 2-blade SWELLEND knife made between 1870 -1940 based on the tang stamp. It measures 3-5/8"in the closed position. Both the blades are full, some scratches and spots but do sit in the right position open and closed. Both the blades are razor sharp. The main clip blade tang is stamped E.C. SIMMONS KEEN KUTTER in the triangle The small blade tang is stamped also E.C. SIMMONS KEEN KUTTER. The main blade has a 1-1/4"swedge or false edge on the top spine with a long nail pull. The smaller blade also has a 1-1/4" false edge on the back top spine. The handles are beautiful dark Ebony with no chips or cracks and steel pins and steel liners (no brass on this big boy). It has shiny nickel silver pinned Federal shield and scratch and ding free front nickel silver bolsters. This is a very nice and tight vintage KEEN KUTTER 2 blade SWELLEND knife that would make a get collectible for any collection. Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you for looking.
