Description: I have here for sale a scarce Japanese design reference book, with over 120 pages of illustrations, with an average of 3 images per page, which are thought to have been used for either Ceramic or Textile patterning, in the Meiji Period ( from 1868). Illustrations include floral, animals, birds & geometric. Probably published around the 1870's, bound in original paper covers, with original stitching. Covers are creased and stained, rubbed around the edges. About a quarter of the pages have light staining to the top edge. This book is in good condition, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages. 8cm x 16cm.Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :) My main posting days are Monday and Thursday ie.
