Description: Original circa 1870's-1880's tintype of a handsome young delivery boy a basket & a long box. The basket is supported over his shoulder with a strap. His face is tinted. As he is wearing a heavy coat so we are guessing that the photo was taken during the winter. Measures 3 1/2" x 2 3/8" inches. There are assorted minor flaws as usually found on most tintypes such as some bends & some minor surface aging & wear. There is one tiny 1/16 inch minor rust spot on the lower right area of his coat. This interesting photo came from an old Pennsylvania collection of tintypes which was formed over several decades.
