Description: This Beautiful Original Painting/Drawing is signed and dated in the lower right: Annie Whitehead 1876. The image measures approx. 15.25" x 10.75". Framed it measures approx.19.75"x 15.25". The work is on paper and mounted on a paper board and framed with an acid free backing. The frame appears to be original, or very early. It is complete with antique wavy glass. The original cardboard backing on the frame has the words written, "August Ludeke, Frisco Cal, January 3 1911. I was able to track the name to an art framer in San Francisco in the early 1900's. The original backing is in the last two photos and will be sent with the painting. I acquired the piece in the San Francisco Bay Area which leads me to wonder if the painting might be depicting a scene on the California Coast. If you recognize the spot, please let me know! This painting is in very good antique condition. The colors are vivid and the drawing clear. There are some small nicks in the frame. The glass is completely intact.
