Description: "Very good" condition 1883 Steinway & Sons Model A. Unsure of refurbishing year, but purchased from Sherman Clay piano company in 2000. Piano has been well cared for and regularly tuned since. Piano was Appraised on 9/11/2022 by Joe Toscano @ Best Piano Value Co., full appraisal available upon request, but highlights are: Exterior: The Piano was in very good condition considering its 139 years. It is evident that the piano was cared for in the past years and at some time was refurbished. The piano exterior was in very good shape except for the lid had a stain fading issue which is not unusual with wood stain pianos of any make.Interior: The inside belly of the piano was in very good shape. It was obvious that the soundboard is original and whoever refurbished the piano took time to repair any cracks.Bench: There is a Matching Bench with the piano in the same style as the centennial legs of the piano which is also in good condition.
