Description: I have seen my fair share of elaborate Victorian lace collars and capelets but I have never seen anything like the awesome piece I am offering today. This lace top would slip over the head and instantly transform any dress you were wearing. Featuring a shallow v-neck in the front and a scalloped bottom edge. The top also has 6” long sleeves and all of the lace is trimmed in smaller lace. Everything is meticulously sewn by hand and the seams all appear to be in really good condition - even in the armpits and shoulders. The lace that makes up the body of the top has wonderful dimensions to the flowers and details. I tried to capture it in images and the cotton threads shine in the light. The entire piece appears to be cotton and is an antique ivory color. I do not see any dark spots on the lace. Here are the measurements… Shoulder to shoulder- 16” Neck opening 9” across and 28” circumference Sleeve is almost 6” long from shoulder Armhole is almost 14” circumference Armpit to armpit is 20” across Bottom opening 40” This piece is “estate fresh” and I have not laundered it.
