An event held at Powderham Castle.'Messrs. R. Trevithick & Humphrey Jones' Sixth Saturday Popular Concert', held at the Exeter Royal Public Rooms on the 13th January 1900. The Royal Public Rooms were opened in 1820, and saw many notable attractions, including balls, and two concerts given by Swedish Nightingale Jenny Lind in 1847. The performers at this 1900 concert include Lilian Haymes, Jessie Beer, H. Stafford Moass, Harry J. England, William Evins, and W. F. Crabb.'Programme of the Grand Display' at Barnfield Hall, held on Monday 30th May, 1904. Illustrated with one photograph to the front wrap.'The King's Royal Silver Jubilee, 1910-1935, Programme of Races', a racing event held in Exminster on the 6th May, 1935, celebrating the Silver Jubilee of King George V. CONDITION In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, smart. 'Powderham Coursing Meeting' is spotted, with a horizontal crease, and some pencil marks. A few light spots to the wraps of 'Messrs. R. Trevithick & Humphrey Jones' Sixth Saturday Popular Concert', small tears to the head and tail of the backstrip. Light handling marks to 'The King's Royal Silver Jubilee'. Internally, 'Messrs. R. Trevithick & Humphrey Jones' Sixth Saturday Popular Concert' is unbound, as issued. Pages are bright and clean.
