Second edition, partially revised. A pamphlet by the late scholar of Christ's College Cambridge, Richard G. Moulton. Designed to be delivered to Cambridge University's affiliated centres Newcastle, Sunderland, Hull and Scarborough for the Spring Term of 1890. The subject of this particular course is the poetical work of Milton, in particular Paradise Lost. Very unusual to find this work in this particular edition, ideal for those with an affiliation to Cambridge University. CONDITION A pamphlet, bound in a paper wrap. Externally, a trifle rubbed. Bumping to the head and tail of the spine and also to the extremities. Heavy rubbing and handling marks to the front and rear boards. Chipping to the tail of the spine and also to the rear of the wrap. Tear to the tail of the rear joint, no more than 2cm. Crease to the rear of the wrap. Small closed tear towards the fore edge, no more than 1cm. Front and rear hinges are strained, with a risk of the paper wrap becoming detached. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean. Offsetting to the title page.
