Description: Views of Hudson River, Water lillies and Public Garden Boston, a cotton field in Louisiana, workers picking cotton, good condition Item 487022 ◊ 1890's Four (4) Stereoview Photographs of Nature, Scenery, Flowers, and Water A rare and delightful "1890's Four (4) Stereoview Photographs of Nature, Scenery, Flowers, and Water." They are all views produced by smaller and larger Stereoview Companies in the 1890's. The stereoviews measures approx. in the length 6-7/8" - 7-1/8" and in the width all cards are 3-1/2. One is flat and the others are curved to some extent.Here's a description of each of these amazing stereoviews:Card #1 - a "view of the Hudson River" in New York. This stereoview is in excellent condition, with only a faint water spot on the right,Card #2 - The lovely stereoview shows a basked of water lillies. It was part of a series, and was produced in Boston. It is in very good condition, with just a bit of surface damage (chipping) around the lower left-hand corner. The back has a bit of wear on some of the edges.Card #3 - This one also comes from Boston. It is a view of the Public Garden. There is a little "house" or shelter, designed for the ducks. The stereoview is in very good condition, with very minor soiling.Card #4 - The final card is the most unusual of all of them. This one show an intriguing scene of a cotton field in Louisiana, and some workers picking cotton. The card is gray, and it is hard to find any flaws. Any wear is very minor.Note that all of the photographs are somewhat faded, but still show good detail.
