Description: Offered for sale is a "No. 323 White City Time Lock Puzzle Safe " cast iron bank. It dates sometime between 1894 and 1923 (it was introduced as a memento of the Chicago World's Fair) by Nicol & Co. Manufacturers of Chicago, IL, and measures approximately 4 1/4" high x 2 3/4" wide x 2 3/4" deep. It has some play wear and areas that have discolored. The locking mechanism would originally have been a cylindrical thumbscrew, but it is missing this piece.
