I know this is Fitchburg MA by the Tinsley & Abell Lumber sign and have found references to their business on postcards and in newspapers and other publications between 1893 and 1900. I also found references to a flood of the Nashua River in 1896. So I expect that is the highly likely date of this picture. This is a great scene of a couple Train cars and railroad tracks on the right along with a building with several smoke stacks and then on the left a partially submerged building that has a plumbing sign on it and something about fittings. A partially submerged sign that says Copper and Brass and something Plumbing. The board backing is 5” x 4” and the photo is around 3 3/8” x 2 ¼” Great content, one of a kind piece! The photo itself is clear and in good shape. The board has a crease on the lower left corner. Condition I would consider this to in Very Good condition. See details above and photos.
