Please wait for my combined invoice before you pay. This is an antique bronze medal from The British Dairy Farmers' Association which was founded in 1876. It is engraved "Awarded to Richard Ewbank for Wensleydale Cheese, 1897" around the edge. It is in its original box named J. A. Restall, Birmingham. It is in good collectable condition with some signs of age and use wear. There are a couple of dints in the medal around the edge but no major damage. The box has heavy signs of age on the outside. The push button clasp is broken. The box has kept the bronze medal in good condition. A nice collectable medal relating to Wensleydale in North Yorkshire famous for HAWES CREAMERY & Wensleydale Cheese. The medal measures approx. 48mm in diameter.
