Description: For sale is nice 1898-O Barber Dime. The Barber Dime ran from 1892 to 1916, and was a very popular design in that they used the same obverse for the half dollar, the quarter, and the dime in the same era. The 1898-O is one of the key date coins because it has a very low mintage number of just 2.1 million coins. And with every grade higher you go the coin increases exponentially in value. And like all Barber Halves this coin is 90% silver. As you can see from the pics the coin is in very good shape, and it would come in at a decent F grade, which is a nice grade to find Barber Dimes in because they were so heavily circulated. All images, date, mint mark, and all stars are nice and present. A couple of the letters in LIBERTY on the obverse are present which is usually the first thing to wear down on these coins. The coin has a darker patina to it and has no damage and no signs of cleaning. This is a necessity for any Barber Dime collection. Thanks!
