E. with monochrome full page illustrations. This collection of macabre rhymes was written by the English writer Harry Graham under the pseudonym Col D. Streamer. This unusual collection features works of 'black humour', depicting angry parents drowning their children, a shark attack and children falling down mountains. Undated, dated by copies held at the British library. CONDITION In the publisher's original quarter cloth with illustrated boards. Externally generally smart with tidemarks to the boards, bumping to the extremities and fading to the spine. Offsetting and scattered spotting to the endpapers. Internally binding strained in places with lightly age toned pages with the odd spot and minor handling mark.
